Date Night

So in hopes that last weekend would be our last weekend as just Husband and Wife and not the Rice Family, I took Holly out for date night. Since it would be our last it was more of a date day. We started our Saturday out with a nice stroll through the nearby park (this was romantic but mostly had the ulterior motive of walking so the baby will come). Holly had ordered a diaper bag from Kohl's and had been waiting all week for it to arrive. She was even tracking it online and had been giving me the daily updates of what city it was in. Holly really wanted the diaper bag to come so she could pack all the babies stuff for the hospital so we would be ready when the moment arrives. As luck would have while we were out on our stroll the mail man came and because the package wouldn't fit in the mail box they left one of those notes come pick up later. It wouldn't be available to pick up until Monday and Holly didn't want to wait that long so... I spent the next five minutes or so stocking or mail man waiting for him to come back down the street so I could jump him and steal the bag (as Holly put it) Luckily he did come down the street and when he saw me holding the note he knew just what I wanted so we got our diaper bag :) After our stroll we had a quick breakfast and then we headed of to the YMCA for a swim. Holly really really likes swimming now because when she gets in the water the baby feels so much lighter so it is very relaxing and comfortable for her. After our swim we did what anyone does after a swim... we took a nice nap. We finished off the evening going to eat at Applebee's and coming home for a movie. It was a great date day on what was hopefully our last weekend alone together :)
