Island Park Timeshare

Last week I got to go to Island Park with Holly's Family for a nice little vacation. We did all the usual sit around eats lots, play lots of cards, feed the fish/ducks at Big Springs with the exception of swimming and doing crafts at the club house that was closed all week for a remodel. Apparently we are the only people who go on vacation to Island at the end of October so they chose to do the remodel then. It was a good time with the family though so the vacation wasn't a total loss. Mary's girls Chelsea and Catie thought the hide-a-bed couch was the coolest thing ever and demanded that they got to sleep on it which as you can imagine just upset all the rest of us that we couldn't sleep on that super soft plush mattress. Then again perhaps we were all to willing to let the girls have the magic bed. Oh another fun highlight while we were feeding the fish/ducks at Big Springs a Moose came out of the woods down the road and on the side of bridge. Mary, the loving older sister, pushes Holly out of the way (towards the water) so she can run over to look at the Moose. Needless to say my pregnant wife was not so happy with her loving sister for her not so subtle hint to take a bath. As a disclaimer Holly never actually got that close to falling in but it is the principle of the whole thing (you don't push pregnant people it doesn't make them happy and when they aren't happy no one is). All in all it was a wonderful trip and great break from work of course it isn't hard to beat a day at work.
